Authorized Users

Authorizing Users


An Authorized User is an individual who has been granted permission to view and discuss a student’s billing account. Parents, guardians and other family members do not automatically have access to view their student’s account.

Students can designate Authorized Users to access their student account information, pay bills and discuss the account with the Bursar’s Office by following these steps:

  1. Student logs into Esther with their Net ID and Password.
  2. Under Students, select Students - Account Summary and Financial Aid > Bill Payment Suite.
  3. Once in the Payment Suite, select Authorized Users from the upper right menu.
  4. Select Add Authorized User.
  5. Enter the e-mail address of the Authorized User and select the access levels you wish to provide. Select Continue.
  6. Agree to the Terms and Conditions and select Continue.
  7. Authorized User setup is now complete.

An e-mail will be sent to the Authorized User containing instructions for logging in and creating a password.
